Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Poise, including purchases through our website and orders for bespoke or customised products.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.
By placing an order with Poise, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
For questions about an order or these terms, please contact:
Poise
Email: info@poisegymnastics.co.uk
1. About Poise
Poise supplies gymnastics leotards, club clothing, training wear and other gymnastics-related apparel.
Our range includes both standard products and bespoke products designed or manufactured specifically for individual customers, gymnastics clubs and other organisations.
2. Our Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours may appear slightly differently depending on your device, screen settings, fabric, printing or sublimation process.
There may also be reasonable variations between production batches, including minor variations in colour, fabric, positioning, finish and appearance.
Such minor variations do not necessarily mean that a product is faulty.
3. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products subject to these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example where:

  • A product is unavailable;

  • There has been an obvious pricing or description error;

  • We are unable to obtain payment;

  • We are unable to fulfil the requested bespoke specification; or

  • We reasonably believe an order may be fraudulent.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received and no goods are supplied, we will refund the appropriate amount paid.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices will be displayed or quoted to you before an order is confirmed.
Website payments are processed through Wix Payments.
For bespoke and customised orders, full payment must be received before the products enter production, unless Poise expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Production will not begin until any required design approval has been received and the required payment has cleared.
5. Standard Products
A standard product is an item that has not been specifically personalised or manufactured to a customer's individual specification.
Our voluntary returns policy allows standard products to be returned within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or refund, provided that the product:

  • Is unworn and unused;

  • Is in perfect, resalable condition;

  • Has all original tags attached; and

  • Is returned in its original packaging where applicable.

Customers should take reasonable care of products while deciding whether to keep them.
Please contact info@poisegymnastics.co.uk if you wish to arrange a return.
This returns policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.
6. Return Postage
Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise required by law, customers are responsible for the cost of returning products to Poise.
We recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning an item.
Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide appropriate instructions.

7. Refunds
Once an eligible returned item has been received and inspected, we will process the appropriate refund.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming products.

8. Exchanges
Where requested, we may exchange an eligible standard product for another size or product, subject to availability.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer an alternative or provide a refund.
Any difference in price between products may need to be paid or refunded as appropriate.

9. Bespoke and Personalised Products
Many Poise products are designed or manufactured specifically for individual customers or gymnastics clubs.
This may include:

  • Bespoke gymnastics leotards;

  • Custom club jackets and tracksuits;

  • Personalised clothing;

  • Products containing club logos, names or branding;

  • Specially commissioned colours or designs;

  • Garments manufactured to an agreed bespoke specification.

Where a product is genuinely made to your specification or clearly personalised, normal change-of-mind cancellation and return rights may not apply.
Once production of a bespoke or personalised product has started, the order cannot normally be cancelled, changed, exchanged or returned simply because you have changed your mind, ordered the wrong size or no longer require the product.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

10. Bespoke Design Process
Where Poise creates a bespoke design, we may provide digital artwork, visualisations, samples, mock-ups or proofs for approval.
Customers are responsible for carefully checking all aspects of a design before approving it.
This includes, where applicable:

  • Colours;

  • Logos;

  • Names;

  • Spelling;

  • Wording;

  • Placement of graphics;

  • Garment style;

  • Design details; and

  • Other visible elements of the proof.

Once you approve a design, you are confirming that you are satisfied with the details shown and authorising Poise to proceed with production.
Poise will not normally be responsible for an error or design feature that was clearly visible in a proof or design that the customer approved.
This does not exclude responsibility for a manufacturing fault or for the finished product materially differing from the approved specification.

11. Changes After Design Approval
Once a bespoke design has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible.
If changes are possible, additional design, manufacturing or material costs may apply.
We will advise you of any additional cost before proceeding with the requested change.

12. Sizing and Measurements
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate garment size and for checking the relevant Poise size guide before ordering.
Where measurements are supplied to Poise, the customer is responsible for ensuring that those measurements are accurate.
If a gymnastics club, parent, gymnast or other customer takes measurements themselves, Poise cannot accept responsibility for incorrect sizing resulting from inaccurate measurements supplied to us or from the wrong size being selected.
Where Poise provides sizing guidance, this is intended to assist the customer but does not replace the customer's responsibility to check the appropriate measurements and sizing information.
Gymnastics garments are performance garments and fit may vary depending on factors including body shape, proportions, garment design and fabric.
If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us before placing or approving your order.

13. Growth and Children's Sizing
When purchasing garments for children or young people, customers should consider that measurements and sizing may change as the gymnast grows.
Poise cannot guarantee how long a particular size will fit an individual gymnast.
Where a customer deliberately selects a larger size to allow for growth, responsibility for that sizing decision remains with the customer.

14. Bespoke Lead Times
Lead times for bespoke products vary depending on factors including:

  • Order quantity;

  • Complexity of the design;

  • Garment type;

  • Material availability;

  • Manufacturing requirements; and

  • Current production capacity.

Once your order has been placed, Poise will provide an expected delivery or completion timeframe.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, bespoke lead times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
If circumstances arise that are likely to cause a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

15. Club and Team Orders
For club or team orders, the person placing or approving the order confirms that they have authority to act on behalf of the relevant club or organisation.
The person coordinating the order is responsible for ensuring that quantities, sizes, names and other individual order information supplied to Poise are correct.
Once bespoke production has started, individual size changes, additions or removals may not be possible.
Additional orders placed later may be treated as separate production orders and may be subject to different lead times, prices or minimum quantities.

16. Customer-Supplied Logos and Artwork
Where you provide Poise with a logo, photograph, artwork, graphic, wording or other material for use on a product, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, authority or permission for Poise to use that material for the purposes of fulfilling your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that customer-supplied material does not infringe another person's copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights.
Poise may refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe that its use may be unlawful or infringe another person's rights.

17. Photographs Supplied to Poise
Customers may provide photographs to Poise by email for purposes such as developing designs, producing mock-ups or discussing bespoke products.
Where a photograph contains an identifiable person, particularly a child or young person, the person supplying the photograph is responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate authority or permission to provide it to Poise for the requested purpose.
Customer-supplied photographs will not automatically be used for public marketing simply because they have been provided as part of an order.

18. Intellectual Property and Poise Designs
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all original designs, artwork, concepts, patterns, graphics, mock-ups and other creative material created by Poise remain the intellectual property of Poise.
Payment for a garment or bespoke order does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or intellectual property to the customer.
Customers may not reproduce, manufacture, supply to another manufacturer, copy, modify, commercially exploit or authorise a third party to reproduce a Poise design without our prior written permission.
Customer-owned logos, trade marks and pre-existing artwork remain the property of their respective owners.

19. Use of Completed Designs and Products by Poise
Poise may photograph, display and reproduce images of products that we have designed or manufactured for the purposes of:

  • Our website;

  • Social media;

  • Product portfolios;

  • Samples;

  • Advertising;

  • Promotional materials; and

  • Demonstrating our design and manufacturing capabilities.

This may include images of bespoke club garments and Poise-created designs.
Where a garment contains a customer's or club's logo, our use of photographs of the completed product will be for the purpose of showcasing Poise's work and will not imply ownership of the customer's logo.
We will not use an identifiable photograph of a gymnast, customer or other individual for public marketing solely because that photograph was supplied to us during the design or ordering process. Separate appropriate permission will be obtained where required.

20. Delivery
Orders may be delivered using Royal Mail, Evri or another appropriate delivery service.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed or communicated before the order is completed.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Poise cannot accept responsibility for delivery problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer, except where the law provides otherwise.

21. Delivery Times
Any delivery date or timeframe provided is an estimate unless we expressly confirm that a specific date has been guaranteed.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver products within the stated timeframe.
If we become aware of a significant delay, we will endeavour to inform you.
Nothing in this section affects any legal rights you may have where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required timeframe.

22. Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order appears to have been lost or arrives damaged, please contact:
info@poisegymnastics.co.uk
We may ask you to provide photographs of damaged packaging or products to help us investigate the issue with the delivery provider.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

23. Faulty or Incorrect Products
We take care to ensure our products meet the expected standard.
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
info@poisegymnastics.co.uk
Please provide your order details and, where helpful, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your rights under applicable UK consumer law.

24. Care Instructions
Customers should follow all washing, drying and care instructions supplied with a garment or displayed on the garment label.
Poise cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by failure to follow the provided care instructions, misuse, inappropriate washing or drying, or normal wear and tear.
Decorative elements and specialist gymnastics fabrics may require particular care.

25. Rhinestones, Embellishments and Decorative Elements
Some gymnastics garments may contain rhinestones, crystals or other decorative elements.
Due to the nature and use of performance garments, individual decorative elements may occasionally loosen or detach during the life of a garment.
Whether this constitutes a fault will depend on the circumstances, including the age of the garment, its use, care and condition.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty.

26. Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time Poise may offer promotions, discounts or promotional codes.
Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively;

  • Only one discount code may be used per order; and

  • Promotions may be subject to specific dates, products or availability.

Any specific promotional conditions will be communicated with the relevant offer.
27. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If a product or material becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate alternative, revised timeframe or refund where applicable.
For bespoke products, we may occasionally need to substitute a material or component. We will seek approval before making a material change that would significantly alter the agreed product.

28. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Poise will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include significant courier disruption, manufacturing disruption, shortages of materials, industrial action, severe weather or other events that could not reasonably have been avoided.
If such an event significantly affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
This section does not remove any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

29. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights relating to goods.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

30. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on our website accurate and up to date.
Occasionally, errors may occur in prices, descriptions, photographs or availability.
If we discover a material error relating to an order, we will contact you and provide appropriate options, which may include reconfirming or cancelling the order and receiving a refund.

31. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applying to your purchase will generally be those in force when your order was placed, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.

33. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the law applicable to you.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have regarding where legal proceedings can be brought.
